Does anyone want to start RPing anything related to the RP-wide plot?
The wizarding world had bounced back rather quickly after the war and, now that people were free of fear, new businesses were opening every day as settlements were expanding.
One such business was a coffeehouse with drinks such as dragon’s leaf tea and croakoa hot chocolate. It was owned by a Hufflepuff who had been in Oliver’s year and, because he had a day off from practicing for Puddlemere, he decided to take some time to see what the fuss was about.
The shop was crowded with wizards, many of whom Oliver recognized as having gone to Hogwarts with him. He found himself in line next to a woman who looked familiar though he couldn’t quite put a name to her face at first.
And then it dawned on him. She was the Ravenclaw seeker Harry had harbored a crush on.
I suck at replying and I think a couple posts got buried somewhere. If we were rping and you still want me to reply just shoot me a message.
Percy half-smiled, wishing the same. “At least we stopped being afraid.” He suggested. Merlin, he was even being optimistic. That was new. He dropped is hand, to move his arm around Oliver. Finally, he was able to do this, just be happy with Oliver. Some part of him still thought that he must be dreaming.
Oliver’s mind flicked forward, imagining Percy in the stands at one of his Quidditch games, imagining Percy leading him around one of those Ministry charity galas everyone went to for appearances, picturing waking up in this flat every day, holding Percy like this and then he stopped himself, No, no. it was far too early to be thinking about those kind of things. They had just been reunited and he didn’t want to ask Percy to define their relationship just yet.
“Let’s just lay like this forever.” He finally said, leaning his face into the crook of Percy’s neck.

Oliver felt his stomach turn a flip as Percy smiled. It was hard, he knew, to make Percy happy and forget the stress of work and he was glad he could actually do that. He wrapped an arm around Percy’s waist and adjusted them both so they were more comfortable, in an almost reclining position stretched across the sofa. When they finally pulled apart the second time neither of them said anything for several minutes, just basking in the comfortable silence.
“I think we should do that more often.” Oliver said with a chuckle when he finally did speak.
Percy had completely let go of worrying, of everything except the moment. He let himself be held in Oliver’s strong arms. He let his hand slip into the edges of Oliver’s hair, where he gently ran his fingers as they kissed, and even when they pulled apart. “I agree.” Percy said, a hint of a smile still playing at his lips. He leaned into Oliver, feeling very relieved, and good for once. He held onto one of Oliver’s hands for a moment. “I’m glad you ran into me.”
“I’m glad too.” Oliver said and then laughed a little. “It seems a bit silly now, doesn’t it?” He asked, pulling Percy even closer to him. “All that time we spent, too afraid to really make any moves.” He had kissed Percy before, yes. But that had been at Hogwarts and he didn’t remember much of it, having been under the influence of alcohol after a particularly good win in Quidditch.
Percy smiled softly, leaning more into Oliver. “It does seem silly…” He said quietly. He thought back, trying to figure out why he was so afraid. “I guess, even though we both made things painfully obvious sometimes, I was still afraid of losing you as a friend if you didn’t feel the same.” He frowned slightly. “And now, well, I hadn’t seen you in so long, there wasn’t anything to loose.” He had no idea what was bringing him to be so vocal and honest. He hadn’t talked about romantic feelings in a very long time. Maybe he had changed.
Oliver smiled, glad Percy was comfortable enough with him to talk about this. “Yeah, I guess that was how I felt too…” He began. “I wish we hadn’t been so afraid. This should have happened a long time ago.” Oliver liked the feeling of Percy in his arms, of having him close.
Alicia smiled and squeezed his hand as she looked around the shop and picked out a few sweets and fizzy juice for later. “Anything you want?” She asked letting his hand go and searching her pockets for her money bag. “So pick something and we can grab a butterbeer then go for a nice walk.” She smiled sweetly and leaned against the counter.
Oliver picked up a small box of every flavor beans, not really being a sweets person, and set them on the counter with the rest of the things. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder while she paid. “Butterbeers on me.”
Alicia paid the girl at the counter and reached up to take his hand on her shoulder and held as they walked out of the sotre and she handed him his box of sweets. “Alright, Now you do know that I don’t like chocolate right?” She opened a box of mini drooubles and popped one into her mouth and smiled as she chewed on her flavor changing gum. “So where should we walk at after we get our butterbeers. I think that girl was eyeing you she smiled at you differently.” She laughed.
Oliver shrugged and rifled through his box of every flavour beans, picking out a marmalade one. “I don’t know. Just around town?” He asked Alicia. “Unless you have someplace in mind, of course.” He picked a candy from his box at random and reached over to feed it to Alicia.
Percy had decided, for once in his life, to just stop thinking about what he was doing. To just feel how wonderful it truly was to kiss Oliver. They pulled away after a moment. Percy kept his gaze on Oliver, trying to just soak in the moment. He couldn’t believe how natural this all felt. He brought his hand up to caress Oliver’s cheek. A genuine, true smile had spread over his lips for the first time in a very, very long time. He sighed contently before leaning back in for another kiss.

Percy smiled a little wider. He decided that the opportunity had presented itself. Even though this wasn’t the most rational of things, he was going to kiss Oliver. He just had to work up the nerve. Even though they were hardly an inch apart that was more difficult than it sounded in his head. It ended up being Oliver who leaned in to close the gap, and once their lips touched, he really didn’t care which of them it was that had made the move. The kiss was gentle, but filled with so many things that had gone unsaid for so long.
As soon as Oliver felt his lips touch Percy’s, he felt all the tension that had built up in the room dissipate. It didn’t matter that they hadn’t seen each other in years, all that mattered was the sound of breathing that filled his ears and feeling of lips against his. He suddenly was reminded why he had been so attracted to Percy in the first place. He didn’t have to worry about impressing him. He had started out the kiss a little clumsily (it had been a while), but it didn’t really matter, and as the kiss went on he found himself growing more confident.
